SISMOBOX - TT1
The TT1 installation involves the use of SismoBox devices at the covering nodes of ribbed tiles, with anchoring of the lateral metal carpentry on the rib of the tile and lateral on the beam.
The standard TT1 installation is just one of the possible configurations for SismoBox devices.
In fact, our systems guarantee maximum flexibility in application methods and can be installed with different types of anchoring based on the specific needs of the customer and the individual project.
SismoBox devices are steel devices that create a non-rigid dissipative connection in correspondence with the roofing elements as part of interventions to reduce the seismic risk of industrial warehouses.
In the event of an earthquake, the devices are activated when a certain force threshold is exceeded and allow a controlled relative movement between the structural elements, limiting the stresses transferred and ensuring an effective connection between the structural elements thanks to the presence of an end constraint race.
The dissipative fuse behavior of the devices allows part of the earthquake energy to be absorbed, reducing its destructive effects, preserving the building and therefore achieving an improvement in the seismic performance of the structure.
