Stonex XVS vSLAM 3D SCANNER

The system uses a technology based on the integration of high resolution images, an inertial system and a complex algorithm: by acquiring a scenario with XVS, it is possible to generate a 3D model through photogrammetric techniques.‎ By walking and filming the scene in motion, an interface that updates in real time will guide you in collecting data, suggesting the speed of movement and, if necessary, inviting you to return to an area to have sufficient image overlap.‎ Thanks to the Visual SLAM system (simultaneous visual localization and mapping), the trajectory is shown on the tablet.‎ The inertial measurement unit (IMU) allows the algorithm to generate a continuous block of images.‎ In the office, the procedure for generating the 3D model is completely automatic, with generation of the best result.‎ Data from XVS can be integrated with video from a drone or any camera for a complete reconstruction of the area.‎ ACCURATE Automatic selection of the best images, to increase the accuracy of the derived model.‎ If the acquisition is very close to the element (about 1m) and is closed on the starting point, the precision is 2-3 mm.‎ HIGH RESOLUTION Based on advanced high-resolution images, it allows you to reconstruct the texture of the scanned material with great clarity and realism.‎ SCALE AND LEVELED RESULTS Thanks to automatic target detection and the use of inertial systems, it is possible to obtain scaled and leveled results.‎ SIMPLE USE Thanks to its practicality and ease of use, it can be used by multiple people within a company or institution, without requiring prior knowledge of 3D scanners.‎ The field application will guide you in data collection.‎ VERSATILE With the XVS scanner it is possible to document a variety of urban scenarios, such as infrastructure, accident reconstructions, gas and water connection work, building facades and more.‎ The geometric accuracy and chromatic realism of the results also make it a perfect companion for archaeological, architectural and geological works.‎ Further info from manufacturer on XVS vSLAM 3D SCANNER Stonex
