Lacquered ash dining table with rectangular top.
The M36 table is the third in a series of table constructions that take as their starting point a Sunday walk under the viaduct of the U1 underground line in Berlin Kreuzberg. This structure is an invention of engineers that serves the sole purpose of supporting dynamic loads with great naturalness. The construction is a composite structure of bars and struts. It follows the lines of force and bundles them into a shape that refers only to its function.
