Oak door handle with lock on rose
101625-101628 - Our in-house door handles essentially consist of two parts: a solid steel core with a nickel-plated brass cranked section and an interchangeable grip sleeve, which is secured to the core using a stainless steel flat-head sleeve nut (M8 15/20). Only a 5 mm hex key is needed for mounting and removing the grip sleeve.
In this case the grip sleeve is made of solid oak wood. Over the course of history, oak has earned itself a reputation for durability and hardness that has become proverbial. And it is indeed one of the most robust and resilient types of wood in Europe. It is weatherproof and water-resistant, rigid and yet elastic. Not that it needs to make full use of these properties as a pen or pencil grip, but they do become noticeable over many years of use, when looking at it and handling it: you feel that you are holding something that has grown organically and is extremely durable.
The door handles are compatible with most rosettes and protective plates from our Swedish partner Kulturbeslag. A selection of which you can find here on our website.
