SOLAR PA INT is an anti-solar matting product (designed for plastics, but can also be applied to glass) based on thermoplastic resin admixed with aluminium pigment, available in basic colour or slightly tinted grey.‎ It contains inhibitors against infrared and ultraviolet rays, thus effectively protecting furniture and goods.‎ Designed for outdoor applications, SOLAR PAINT resists the weather and, above all, filters the sun's rays, giving working environments superior comfort.‎ The elimination of annoying glare and therefore the containment of the greenhouse effect allow for a substantial improvement in the comfort of working environments.‎ The resulting benefit is certainly appreciable, resulting in greater productivity.‎ SOLAR PA INT can also be sprayed on vertical windows and panelling without any problems.‎ N.‎B.‎ The final translucent appearance may present light/dark phenomena (shadows and/or veiling) due to the overlapping of the coats of paint, this makes the product recommended for industrial environments, where the aesthetic aspect is to be preferred, we recommend, if possible, the use of a POLIZONE SKYLITE S20X film.‎ TECHNICAL DATA Specific weight 1.‎070 - 1.‎085 Delivery viscosity: 40" Ford cup n.‎4 at 20°C Solids by volume: 39 + 2 % Recommended thickness 30 micron dry film Theoretical yield: 3 - 6 sqm/l PERFORMANCES Visual Acuity Reduction: (visible light): 12% Solar Energy Total Solar Energy Reduction: 80% Reduction of glare 70% Maximum ultraviolet transmission: 5%.‎ PREPARATION OF SURFACES The surfaces to be treated must be perfectly clean and degreased.‎ If necessary, wash thoroughly with water and neutral detergent.‎ In case of application on glass, after cleaning the surface, apply a coat of PRIMER for SOLAR PAINT to improve the adhesion characteristics of the paint.‎ APPLICATION CHARACTERISTICS Mix the product well and apply it preferably by spray, roller or brush.‎ It is advisable to use relatively low application pressure in 2 or 3 successive light cross passes until the desired thickness is reached, clean tools with epoxy thinner.‎ SAFETY PRECAUTIONS The product does not contain solvents or harmful components, it is however good practice to avoid contact with the skin.‎ Refer to the product's safety data sheet for further information.‎ N.‎B.‎: The technical data given are taken from the provisional technical data sheet, therefore the Company declines all responsibility for applications carried out outside its control.‎
