Impiantus-GAS

Impiantus-GAS is ACCA 's programme for dimensioning and verification of gas distribution systems.‎ The programme operates in compliance with the UNI 7129-2008 and UNI 7131 standards.‎ Impiantus-GAS features: - Design, verification and sizing of different types of gas systems (also mixed systems).‎ - Calculation and sizing of networks according to different design criteria (UNI 7129, UNI 7131 or customised criteria).‎ - Object-oriented CAD for entering geometric and typological network data directly from the drawing.‎ - Complete, customisable archive of system components (gas terminals, piping, boilers, etc.‎).‎ - Advanced diagnostics functions with signalling of design errors and various suggestions.‎ - Import of drawings in DXF and DWG format and 3D visualisation of the project.‎ - Export in DXF and DWG formats of the plant schematic.‎ - Technical report, design drawings, posological diagrams and automatic plant calculation with PriMus-DCF.‎ - Export of data to Praticus-37/08 for drawing up the declaration of conformity.‎ The input of design data takes place through the simple drawing of graphic objects that describe the typological and dimensional characteristics of the system.‎ The technician provides design through the drawing of piping, gas terminals, boilers, ovens, hobs, etc.‎ Each object has its own parametric graphic representation and properties accessible at all times through an object inspector.‎ In addition, the input is assisted, according to a step-by-step logic, by a diagnostic process capable of quickly highlighting any drawing anomalies (unconnected sections, "open" ends, repeated connections between the different joints of the system, etc).‎ The programme allows the dimensioning of different types of gas systems (methane, LPG, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, etc.‎); the software allows one or more sources to be positioned on the graphic table and to choose between tanks, direct connections to the distribution network and direct connection to a meter.‎ It is possible to design systems composed of several independent sections both by type of gas and by operating pressure and maximum drop from the supply to the terminals.‎ During the design it is possible to define subsections, which are subject to stricter parameters than those foreseen by the source or prescribed by the regulations in force (UNI 7129 and UNI 7131).‎ The calculation and sizing procedure of the system can be configured by the user by setting certain parameters and selecting the active terminals.‎ The calculation automatically sizes each pipe section according to the specifications chosen by the technician.‎
