Tek28 is the insulated version of the Alubel 28 profile, suitable for the construction of roofs and walls of civil and industrial buildings as well as for the renovation of existing roofs.‎ Produced from corrugated metal sheet insulated with a layer of high-density polyurethane foam, Tek28 can be machined with notching for adaptation to curved surfaces and installed on roofs with a minimum slope of 7 %.‎ The insulation layer runs symmetrically along the profile's corrugation and integrates perfectly with the Alubel 28 system.‎ GENERAL FEATURES TEK28 With a width of 1,000 mm, a thickness of 28 mm and a thickness of 10 in the slab section,Tek28 is available with metal sheet in natural aluminium, prepainted aluminium, prepainted steel, aluzinc, copper and titanium zinc.‎ The range of colours and finishes allows Tek28 insulated profiles to be applied in different building and landscape contexts: standard colours for pre-painted aluminium are Sienna Red (Ral 3009), Dark Brown (Ral 8017), White Grey (Ral 9002).‎For pre-painted sheet: Sienna Red (Ral 3009), Dark Brown (Ral 8017) and White Grey (Ral 9002).‎ THE ADVANTAGES OF THE PROFILE The strengths of the Tek28 profile are: - the reduction of noise from the direct impact of rain and hail, with an increase in interior acoustic comfort, - the reduction of the condensation effect thanks to the circulation of a flow of air, - the excellent walkability in the event of maintenance, - the reduction of hail damage, - the elimination of thermal bridges, thanks to the insulation of the intrados of the sheet metal and galvanic corrosion phenomena due to contact between different metals thanks to the separation with the polyurethane layer, - the 'warm-ventilated roof' effect, with the constant circulation of air to disperse the heat transmitted by the roof covering, which preserves the underlying layers from overheating.‎ The internal finish is with polyurethane film or aluminium foil.‎ THECOMPONENTS OF THE TEK28 SYSTEM Metal corrugated sheets for roofing in the Alubel 28 range are characterised by their strong resistance to atmospheric agents and guarantee high durability in all climatic conditions, with an excellent ability to withstand all operating stresses, including foot traffic, without deforming.‎ Tek28 is an evolution of the Alubel 28 system and is an insulated slab by means of a special process: the inner part is covered with a monolithic layer of high-density polyurethane foam equal to 60 kg per m³ and with a continuous thickness of 10 mm.‎ The polyurethane layer is perfectly adherent to the metal and indissoluble from it under normal operating conditions, while the fretwork and the area destined for the overlapping of the adjoining element and the slab underneath are free from the polyurethane coating, so that the latter remains continuous in the joints at the soffit and without problems of watertightness of the roofing, along the sides of the slab and at the head connection.‎ With the use of Tek28, comfort in interior rooms derives from the elastic cell structure of polyurethane, a material with an excellent degree of sound absorption and capable of strongly reducing airborne noise.‎ The dampening effect is especially effective against direct impact noise caused by rain or hail.‎ The composite structure with indissoluble layers with different physical characteristics and different thicknesses, such as metal coupled with polyurethane, limits the passage of vibrations caused by noise and impacts and transforms them into an infinitesimal increase in heat that is dissipated by the system.‎ The qualities of Tek28 also derive from the thermal inertia of the polyurethane foam, which prevents the intrados of the slab from becoming a cold surface during all months of the year and at night.‎ This characteristic significantly reduces any condensation problems.‎ The warm surface due to the presence of the polyurethane inside the roof prevents moisture from condensing into droplets.‎ ACCESSORIES - Curved ridge - Notched hinged ridge - Moulded hinged ridge - Moulded shed ridge - Moulded wall flashing - Moulded chimney base element - Metal chimney flashing - Notched wall flashing - Notched sub-floor/top-floor gasket - Press-folded snow stop - Skylight base - Opening frame (manual and electric) - Sicurtetto passarella - Skylight double sheet polycarbonate profile Alubel 28 - Skylight double sheet polycarbonate profile 28 + honeycomb sheet - Straight translucent fibreglass sheet - Curved translucent fibreglass sheet Further info from manufacturer on TEK 28 Alubel
