AEROPAN® VP the vacuum insulation panel - represents the evolution of siliceous Aerogel-based products.‎ Developed to guarantee the highest level of thermal insulation, it is a product with very high technological content and the result of advanced production processes.‎ The extremely high insulating properties offer unparalleled performance capable of achieving the highest insulation values in a variety of applications in construction, industry and, more generally, wherever there are application limits of conventional insulating products.‎ It is the best performing solution in the panorama of insulating panels wherever maximum thermal performance is needed in extremely small spaces.‎ AEROPAN® VP panels have been manufactured to achieve the best thermal insulation perfomances, thanks to the extraordinary insulating capacity of the Aerogel core, and are able to offer unparalleled performance guarantees for various application sectors.‎ They can be used for applications in a temperature range from -70°C to +80°C.‎ AEROPAN® VP contains a nanotechnology-based Aerogel core; the nanopores minimise energy transmission and consequently contact thermal conductivity is minimised.‎ The addition of specific and selected opacifiers helps minimise the emission of infrared radiation.‎ AEROPAN® VP is then processed into a vacuum panel, thus avoiding any thermal transmission by convection.‎ The core of AEROPAN® VP is heat-sealed into a vacuum metallised multi-layer film.‎ The very low internal pressure and the microporous panel core allow extremely low thermal conductivity values to be achieved.‎ AEROPAN® VP allows the thickness to be reduced by up to 10 times compared to traditional type insulation, while maintaining the same insulating capacity in terms of thermal transmittance.‎ The AEROPAN® VP panel is available in 2 different versions: AEROPAN® VP bare panel for cavity applications and where a dry finish is envisaged.‎ AEROPAN® VP-R double skinned panel with a cementitious slab (3 mm for each slab) for installations where a direct finish is foreseen or where a superior resistance to impact or surface abrasion is required.‎ Precautions of use AEROPAN® VP metallised multilayer plastic film must not be damaged by drilling, cutting, milling, nailing; in this case the internal pressure of the panel will increase and the special properties of the panel will be compromised.‎ AEROPAN® VP THE ADVANTAGES Aerogel core for maximum performance Minimum thermal conductivity 0.‎0045 / 0.‎0047 W/mK Increased energy and therefore cost savings Reduced thickness: 5 to 10 times thinner than a conventional product Superior dimensional stability Minimal loss of living space Reduced consumption and improved living comfort Maximum fire resistance for even safer use Aerogel core from recycled raw materials and totally recyclable.‎
