The Aliant Shed system, designed to expand the lighting and ventilation possibilities of work environments, represents the natural evolution of the Aliant Spazio system with which it shares the use of secondary BasalTop® modules mounted on slopes inclined with respect to the horizontal plane with the interposition of translucent surfaces (shed frames).‎ With windows appropriately oriented to the north, Aliant Shed gives the internal environment a homogeneous and diffused brightness which, due to its nature of indirect daylight, allows a notable thermal benefit in the summer.‎ The shed system is also particularly suitable for spaces intended for the production or storage of goods sensitive to infrared and/or ultraviolet rays.‎ The roof slopes exposed to the south constitute the ideal support for the installation of integrated photovoltaic systems without perforating the water-tight layer (fiber-reinforced concrete mantle), while improving the thermal efficiency of the roof (“ventilated roof”).‎
