Baraclit VASARI - Prefabricated structural element for roof

The Vasari roofing system, whose name pays homage to the Renaissance architecture of the famous Arezzo artist Giorgio Vasari, is characterized by the use of concrete wing tiles with a constant section and open head.‎ The 250 cm wide prestressed concrete stringent tiles can be produced in two different heights (83 or 90 cm) and variable length.‎ To combine quality, flexibility and design economy, Vasari tiles can be completed with both BasalTop® cups (prefinished monolithic elements already in use in the Aliant system) and with lightweight metal sandwich panels or similar, allowing the creation of flat (zenithal lighting) or shed (oriented lighting) roofs.‎ The particular “V” shape of Vasari, the width of the channel on the extrados and the possibility of continuously connecting the tiles of several spans, allow for the collection of large quantities of rainwater and its easy conveyance towards the perimeter of the building (‘water outside’ through direct lines).‎
