PLAST DARK is an insulating panel in sintered expanded polystyrene with graphite additive, with interlocking knuckles and a 0.‎6 mm thick polystyrene surface film Plus The use of graphite as an additive to polystyrene makes it possible to reduce the thickness required to comply with the UNI EN 1264 standard, reducing the thermal conductivity coefficient (0.‎030 W/mK).‎ The thick surface film gives great resistance to treading.‎ Laying This is an underfloor heating system in which the pipe is laid on a pre-moulded knuckle panel.‎ The system is installed quickly and does not require the use of special equipment.‎ It is essential that the pre-moulded panel is laid on a completely flat, solid and load-bearing surface.‎ Features PLAST DARK embossed panel made of thermoformed expanded polystyrene, compliant with EN 13163, self-extinguishing (reaction to fire according to EN13501-1: Euroclass E), CFC-free, provided on the surface with a 0.‎6 mm thick rigid polystyrene film (EN 1264-4 paragraph 4.‎2.‎3) coupled to the insulating panel.‎ The embossings have a special pipe-blocking protrusion and allow the pipe to be laid with 50 mm spacing.‎ The joint between the panels is made by means of special male/female perimeter embossments with overlapping of the same.‎
