Cappellotto SPIDEREX LIGHT STRETCH
SPIDEREX LIGHT STRETCH is a plastic material panel (polypropylene) for the realisation of radiant systems with reduced thickness, coupled with a blue-coloured flat elasticised EPS insulation, without polyethylene surface film. Multiple installation spacing of 50 mm. Multilayer pipe (Pe-Xc/Al/Pe-Xc) 12x1.6 mm.
Plus
The system is laid like a normal panel with knuckles, but with a reduced thickness screed (10 mm above the knuckle). Due to its minimal overall height, it is suitable for use in renovations. The reduced thickness of the screed above the pipe results in a lower thermal inertia of the system and a faster response. The plastic material of which the panel is made (polypropylene) is 100 % recycled. Patented product.
Laying
It is important that the support layer is perfectly flat, solid, load-bearing and free of irregularities. The system is laid in the same way as a normal underfloor system with a knuckle panel; once the pipework has been laid, the special shallow screed must be created with the level specifically for Spiderex UFH-LIV-SPR (see page 126). The panels are joined to each other with an edge joint.
Features
MINI SPIDEREX STRETCH underfloor heating system, characterised by a 100% recycled polypropylene knuckle panel coupled with light blue elasticised EPS insulation, in compliance with EN 13163. The hollow knuckles allow the special surface screed to envelop the panel, thus calculating the thickness of the screed from the base of the panel and making a height above the panel of 10 mm sufficient. The high-strength embossments allow the pipe to be laid with 50 mm spacing. SPIDEREX is the only system for underfloor Radiant systems that combines the ease of installation of a rusticated panel with the thermal output of a flat panel. Thanks to the innovative and patented geometry of the embossed panel, the SPIDEREX web is completely embedded in the screed, allowing the homogeneous distribution of the temperature inside the screed and making the application of the traditional distribution net superfluous.allow the laying of the pipe with 50 mm spacing.
The special geometry of the embossment is designed to respond to all the mechanical stresses to which a radiant floor system is subjected.
The spider web of SPIDEREX totally embedded in the screed also acts as a distribution mesh, allowing the thickness of the screed to be reduced. With a footprint of only 20 mm (excluding the thickness of the finish) using the specific level UFH-LIV-SPR or similar, it is possible to create a high-performance radiant system in adherence to the existing floor.
