REFLEX - Highly Visible Elements is a new line of CEDA's vibrocompressed concrete products that seeks to solve the problem of the visibility of particular categories of manufactured articles.‎ In fact, thanks to this methodology that CEDA Spa has patented, it is possible to obtain highly visible concrete elements immediately, without the use of paints or other devices during construction.‎ The developed technique can be applied to traditional self-locking concrete blocks, concrete gratings and road kerbs.‎ Thanks to the high-pressure application of an elastic-plastic reflective laminate on fresh concrete, the visibility of the concrete can be significantly improved immediately.‎ The result is artefacts that are highly visible in all weather and light conditions, easy to maintain, as the coloured element is embedded in the concrete, and extremely safe: the surface of the laminate, being treated with rougheners, has a degree of roughness on a wet surface equal to that of a wet asphalt pavement.‎ Particularly interesting are the self-locking concrete elements with incorporated road markings to reinforce the standard road markings.‎ USE The elements of the REFLEX - High Visibility Elements line can be used in the most diverse fields: from car parks to lay-bys, from traffic lanes to roundabouts.‎ The strength of these elements is that they have the same dimensional characteristics as normally manufactured elements; thus becoming accessories to be inserted in the context, it is possible to optimise their use according to the degree of visibility one wishes to confer to the work.‎ REFLEX line - HIGH VISIBILITY EL EMENTS The methodology with which the elements of the REFLEX line are produced is protected by an industrial patent.‎ The concrete elements of the REFLEX line are produced in compliance with the relevant UNI EN standards and are accompanied by the CE mark .‎ The REFLEX type concrete block has been tested by an external laboratory for both slipperiness and resistance to freeze-thaw cycles.‎ The elastic-plastic laminate is approved by the Ministry of Public Works and conforms to UNI EN 1436 and 1790 standards.‎ The laminate is available in white and yellow.‎ New laminate characteristics: Luminance factor (B): greater than 0.‎60 (white), 0.‎40 (yellow); Diurnal reflection (Qd): greater than 160 (white), 100 (yellow) mcd lx-1m-2; Retroreflection (RL) greater 300 (white), 150 (yellow) mcd lx-1m-2; Non-slip: greater 50 RSU For further quality aspects, please refer to the product data sheet which can be requested from CEDA Spa.‎
