DERBICOAT® NOVI P

Derbicoat® Novi P is the first sustainable waterproofing underlayer developed using Novitumen® technology, now also available on the Italian market.‎ Suitable for use both as a bituminous underlayer and as a vapour barrier, the membrane contains exclusively recycled bitumen sourced from carefully selected end-of-life waterproofing membranes, as well as production and pre-installation offcuts.‎ It is fully recyclable and manufactured using 100% renewable energy.‎ The product enables a 42% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to traditional bituminous vapour barriers and features an environmental footprint up to 85% lower than standard underlayers.‎ It can be applied either cold or by torch-on installation.‎ The ATG certification provides an additional guarantee of quality, reliability and technical performance.‎ Novitumen® is the technology through which Derbigum developed the world's first bituminous membrane made entirely from 100% recycled bitumen, without the use of any new fossil-based raw materials.‎ Patented by Derbigum, Novitumen® technology reactivates end-of-life bituminous membranes, production scraps and pre-installation offcuts through a unique recycling process that restores recycled bitumen without altering its properties or quality.‎ This innovation marks a significant milestone for the roofing industry and paves the way for a fully circular model.‎
