DERBITHERM S AK is a polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam panel with a high recycled content, produced without the use of CFCs or HCFCs, with a kraft-aluminium multilayer complex finish on both faces, suitable as a substrate for laying bituminous waterproofing membranes bound with cold adhesive, for bituminous and synthetic waterproofing membranes bound by mechanical fixing, bonding or semi-independent laying.‎ It can be bonded to the substrate with cold bituminous or polyurethane adhesives and for mechanical fixing.‎ It is available in different formats and in a full range of thicknesses from 30 mm to 160 mm.‎  Product with environmental product declaration (EPD) that places it among the best on the market for sustainability indices with a minimum of 6% recycled raw material present.‎ Excellent thermal insulation capacity with a thermal conductivity of 0.‎022 W/mK, tested according to the international standard EN 12667.‎ Excellent compressive strength up to 200 kPa, tested at 10% crushing according to the international standard EN 826, placing Derbitherm panels among the best on the market.‎  Excellent dimensional stability, tested according to international standard EN 1604 at critical temperature and humidity values.‎ Excellent resistance to long-term water absorption, tested by immersion test according to international standard EN 12087.‎
