EVITEC-H is the new range of high-efficiency GALLETTI multiscroll units equipped with R410A compressors with steam injection.‎ The range consists of 10 air-water models available in reversible heat pump version, with cooling capacities ranging from 50 to 180 kW.‎ The main strength of the range is the extended operating range, both in terms of the maximum temperature of the hot water produced (65°C down to -11°C of outside air), and in terms of the minimum temperature of the outside air at which continuous operation of the unit is guaranteed (-20°C).‎ The range provides high configurability from an acoustic point of view, with a wide range of accessories to reduce noise emissions.‎ Advanced control, always present throughout the range, allows continuous monitoring of operating parameters, advanced control logic and connectivity.‎ The modular structure with V-shaped coils is designed to optimise heat exchange on the air side, guarantee structural robustness on a reduced footprint and maintain maximum accessibility of key components.‎ In addition to high punctual efficiency in nominal conditions (Eurovent class A), in order to increase efficiency at partial loads the entire range consists of tandem solutions (2 compressors on a single cooling circuit).‎ The possibility of configuring the units with the Hydro Smart Flow kit makes it possible to increase efficiency and extend the working range in cooling mode.‎ Scroll compressors with vapour injection: The EVITEC-H range is entirely equipped with scroll compressors with EVI (Enhanced Vapor Injection) technology, which can be acoustically insulated, complete with internal thermal protection of the windings and installed on special anti-vibration supports.‎ These compressors are equipped with an additional port for steam injection in an intermediate stage of the compression process capable of ensuring the achievement of a dual benefit: - an increase in heating capacity with the same compressor displacement - a consistent reduction in compressor discharge temperature.‎ This translates into an extension of the operating range (production of hot water up to 65°C and operation at full load with external air down to -20°C) and an increase in the efficiency of the refrigeration cycle.‎ Single-circuit or dual-circuit units are available, all featuring a tandem solution (2 compressors connected in parallel on a single circuit), so as to favour high efficiency values not only at rated conditions but also seasonally.‎ Hydro Smart Flow: The HSF kit optimises the operation of the unit in the summer season.‎ The system is arranged on the hydronic side of the unit and consists of a 4-way valve and a special pipe kit including a flow switch.‎ Hydro Smart Flow intervenes when the seasonal changeover occurs, when the refrigerant reverses the direction in which it crosses the plate.‎ The 4-way hydronic valve also acts by directing the water flow in the opposite direction, consistent with what happens on the refrigerant side.‎ The countercurrent heat exchange allows the evaporation temperature to rise with the same temperature of the cold water produced.‎ This effect extends the working range of the unit, allowing it to produce water at lower temperatures and at the same time increasing its yield and efficiency.‎ Upwind: UPWIND technology developed by GALLETTI allows the cycle inversion to maintain the same direction in which the refrigerant crosses the coils and ensures exchange with the air always in countercurrent.‎ The solution is implemented thanks to precise arrangements on the refrigeration circuit, advanced electronics and a finned coil layout unique on the market.‎ The countercurrent exchange with the air makes it possible to decrease the temperature difference between the air and the refrigerant with the same power exchanged, and therefore to raise the evaporation temperature during the winter season.‎ Silenced solutions: EVITEC-H is equipped with electric fans characterised by the exclusive aerodynamic profile of the blades (HyBlade) which allows extraordinary aeraulic and acoustic performance.‎ The AxiTop diffuser is available as an option to further increase the efficiency of the fan with benefits in terms of acoustics and efficiency of the entire unit.‎ For applications where low noise is a key factor in the design phase, it is also possible to combine the EC fans with the diffusers and activate the night-time low noise function, which can reduce the sound power level by up to 8 dB by altering the maximum number of compressors switched on and the maximum fan speed.‎ The compressor compartment is separated from the hydraulic circuit and the fan part, allowing easier maintenance and, on request, reduction of the acoustic impact by means of soundproofing hoods and sound-absorbing compartment.‎
