The ideal screw for fixing dk hammers on timber, PVC and mixed systems.‎ Opening and closing a window several times a day puts continuous stress on the hammers-hinge assembly, which, over time, becomes the cause of screw loosening and consequent system malfunction.‎ The solution: The DK FIX® screw is designed to solve any problem caused by the stresses and friction caused by the movement of window opening and closing devices: - The head fits perfectly on the countersunk holes of all commercially available hammers - The underhead has special self-locking knurls that adhere to both metal and plastic surfaces - On the M5 thread, the HECLOK® self-locking treatment is applied at 180° in a precise area of the screw body, which absorbs vibrations and prevents the screw from loosening.‎ Advantages: - The fixing of the hammers is done only once and maintenance of the frame handle block is completely eliminated - The use of the DK FIX® screw does not require the hammers to be removed from their seat.‎ If intervention is necessary, DK FIX® screws can be loosened and screwed in again, losing only 10 per cent of their vibration-absorbing capacity.‎ EFG FIXEL: Specific fixings for the assembly of windows, shutters and frames.‎
