Matrix is ​​a universal wireless transmitter that connects third-party motion detectors to the lares 4.‎0 platform, communicating with it over the 868 MHz radio band.‎ Matrix makes it possible to wirelessly configure any type of low-power wired sensor, particularly OPTEX sensors (BXS, VXS, WXI, WXS, and QXI series in the wireless version).‎ Specifically, OPTEX detectors communicate with Matrix via a serial connection: simply connect the Matrix serial port to the OPTEX detector's serial port using the supplied cable.‎ This connection eliminates the need for wiring on the terminal block.‎ Furthermore, the OPTEX sensor can be configured directly from the Ksenia SecureWeb interface or the Ksenia Pro app, quickly and easily, without having to adjust the sensor's dip switches.‎ Matrix can be powered by one to three standard lithium batteries (type CR123A).‎ Thanks to intelligent standby, when the sensor partition is disarmed, detection is suspended, with significant battery savings.‎
