DOPPIO TWIN

The "DOPPIO TWIN" panel (Nidyon Double panel) is a pre-reinforced "stay" formwork for the construction of insulated reinforced concrete walls as part of Nidyon's industrialised construction technology.‎ It makes it possible to construct buildings with a solid, monolithic structure that is particularly suitable for areas with a high seismic risk, without height limitations.‎ The use of the double panel aims to realise buildings of high architectural quality while reducing construction time.‎ The particular conformation of the panel and the assembly methods make it possible to realise walls with exceptional acoustic and thermal performance that allow for the achievement of energy class A4 (D.‎M.‎ 26/06/2015).‎ It consists of two separate sheets of EPS-RF 150 kPa (self-extinguishing Sintered Expanded Polystyrene) with the dual function of formwork at the time of casting (carried out on site) and of double insulating coat.‎ Inside each slab there is a structural steel mesh and externally an electrowelded mesh with plaster-bearing function.‎ At the building site, the two slabs must be assembled and joined by means of special connectors provided, laying the additional reinforcements envisaged in the executive structural design.‎ Subsequently, the wall is completed by pouring ordinary concrete mix.‎ The concrete casting phase on site allows, through a single operation, the realisation of the load-bearing structures, the infills and the thermal insulation of the building.‎ Finally, the external plaster is sprayed on, completing the insulated load-bearing wall.‎ The thickness of the concrete wall and insulation can be customised as required without limitation.‎
