NIPAP
The 'NIPAP' panel (Nidyon Single Panel) is a pre-reinforced 'stay' formwork for the construction of insulated sandwich reinforced concrete load-bearing walls in the framework of Nidyon's industrialised construction technology. It allows the construction of buildings characterised by a solid, monolithic structure that is particularly suitable for areas with a high seismic risk. The use of the load-bearing single panel aims to realise buildings of up to 3 storeys above ground, with high architectural quality and reduced construction time. The high acoustic and thermal performance allows the achievement of the best level of energy classification.
It consists of a single sheet of EPS-RF 80 kPa (Self-extinguishing Sintered Expanded Polystyrene) with the dual function of "support" for the concrete at the time of casting (carried out by spraying using normal plastering machines) and of insulating coat. Two structural steel meshes are provided on the two outer faces. The concrete casting phase on site allows, through a single operation, the realisation of the load-bearing structures, the infill and the thermal insulation of the building. Subsequently, a simple external finishing skim coat is made to complete the wall. Plastering is not necessary, as the resulting sandwich wall lends itself to being directly painted.
The thickness of the insulation can be customised according to requirements, up to a maximum of 16 cm.
