OVER-FOIL BM is a reflective insulation material developed and manufactured to provide effective insulation for floors and intermediate floors.‎ Noise is a widespread type of pollution in urban areas.‎ The product's flexibility, high compressive and tensile strength, and ease of installation make it possible to create 'floating' floors with high soundproofing power that comply with the acoustic requirements of the regulations.‎ OVER-FOIL BM also offers good thermal insulation value, a perfect vapour barrier and guaranteed ease of laying.‎ Composition: An inert polyethylene air bubble covered with a sheet of protected pure aluminium and coupled with a polyethylene foam covered with a sheet of high-density polyethylene.‎ Total thickness approx.‎ 6 mm.‎ ADVANTAGES Acoustic comfort and energy saving.‎ Excellent certified noise abatement value.‎ Simple and pleasant installation, easy-to-install material requiring no special tools.‎ Low thickness.‎ 100% vapour and water barrier.‎ Clean material, rot-proof and free of CFCs and HFCs.‎ Easy to transport, move and store.‎ INSTALLATION Clean the substrate from any residue and lay the rolls of OVER-FOIL BM completely covering the floor and overlapping the edges by at least 5 cm.‎ Turn the insulating material over the walls and pillars at a height slightly higher than that of the finished floor so as to completely desolate the screed.‎ Carry out the joints of the insulating material with the special reinforced polyethylene adhesive tape.‎ Make a reinforced screed of a suitable thickness according to the load to be supported (minimum 5 cm), which must not have any rigid connection with the floor, walls or pillars.‎ Lay the planned flooring and cut off the excess insulation material with a cutter.‎
