Seismic safety is a key feature of the PAVERWOOD building system. The PAVERWOOD structure consists of floors and formwork Blocks in wood cement in which horizontal and vertical reinforcement is inserted to create a solid, weakly reinforced, fully load-bearing structure.
This characteristic makes this product perfect for any type of construction in highly seismic areas. The new Blocks IL 22 also makes it possible to create seismic joints even in the presence of adjoining walls, such as in semi-detached houses, assisting seismic safety and sound insulation and minimising the thickness of the partition wall.
The quality of the product starts with the raw material. The company produces the blocks using only the chips from PEFC certified spruce, only raw material that guarantees high quality standards; sawdust and dust are removed with special vibrating screens.
The petrified wood chips are mixed with “Portland” cement, and then printed and dried naturally, so as to obtain a fully ecological block that does not burn, does not rot, is highly breathable and has high thermal and acoustic insulation. For purely acoustic blocks, the density is further increased.
