Phantom Hands COFFEE TABLE - THREE LEGGED Triangular teak central coffee table

The COFFEE TABLE - THREE LEGGED is a re-edition of the design that was created for various public and private spaces in Chandigarh in the 1960s.‎ The 'triangular' table top is made of teak veneer glued to high quality water resistant plywood on either side.‎ The table top rests on a solid wood frame and there is a slight gap between the curved corners of the table top and the legs.‎ The edge of the table top has a continuous beading of a thin strip of wood.‎ The legs are made of solid wood.‎ Wood finish: Natural Teak / Dark Stain  Project Chandigarh is our homage to Indian Modernism, a style and philosophy of making that manifested in Chandigarh in the 1950s.‎ Our re-editions's of these mid-century designs use the same craftsmanship and philosophy of making that was used for three decades in Chandigarh.‎ The nuances and details that make these designs special – finger joints, curvatures, grooves – are retained while improving the pieces structurally and materially.‎ The natural rattan cane used for the seats and backs are peeled and woven by hand, by highly skilled weavers just like in the vintage pieces.‎ Further info from manufacturer on COFFEE TABLE - THREE LEGGED Phantom Hands
