The Nicoll civil system is ideal for homes, offices, the service sector and all those applications in general where there are no particular load requirements that require reinforcement with electrowelded mesh, and where there is no particular need for limited overall dimensions.‎ This system is composed of a rusticated insulating panel with coupled vapour film that guarantees easy and quick installation combined with solid anchoring of the pipe.‎ Embossedpanels The Nicoll ci vile system is composed of embossed panels made of preformed expanded polystyrene covered on the upper side with either a hot-coupled EPS film (Nicoll-Easy) or a mechanically coupled thermoformed sheet (Nicoll-Compact).‎ Syntheticreinforcement fibres Polymeric fibres for concrete with high toughness and elasticity make it possible to reinforce the screed by preventing shrinkage.‎ The use of synthetic fibres makes it possible to partially or totally replace electro-welded or PPR reinforcement meshes.‎ They can be added to concrete in the mixer or directly into the concrete mixer.‎ Standard: EN 14889-2 .‎ Recommended dosage: 1 bag per m3 of poured concrete (for 4-5cm thick screeds).‎ Lowered solution In the case of building renovations, the lowered Nicoll Compact panel (32 mm thick) can be used in combination with the special additive for lowered screeds that provides mechanical resistance, compactness, workability and high thermal conductivity.‎ The combination of these two products makes it possible to realise the radiant system in just 62 mm in height excluding the covering.‎ Acoustics The embossed panels can be replaced with special panels specifically designed to meet recent acoustic requirements.‎ Sound-absorbing embossed panel Nicoll-Fono, made by overlapping three different layers: a sound-absorbing sheet made of elasticised material, a thermo-insulating embossed sheet in expanded polystyrene mechanically coupled with a further thermoformed sheet in high-density polystyrene Nicoll-Fono 25dB contributes to a footfall noise reduction of more than 25dB.‎ Pex/AL/Pex Multifloor pipe PE-Xb/AL/PE-Xb Multifloor pipe in coextruded cross-linked polyethylene that guarantees 100% oxygen barrier by eliminating corrosion of metal parts and the formation of mould, sludge and bacteria that would cause pipe clogging.‎ In line with UNI-EN 1264, 10954 and DIN 4726-4729 standards, the pipe is KIWA certified according to UNI EN ISO 21003.‎ PE-X pipe PE-X pipe made of cross-linked high-density polyethylene.‎ The pipe features an EVOH oxygen barrier and a PE-X layer.‎ In line with DIN 16892, UNI 9349 and DIN4726, maximum working pressure of 6 bar.‎ The pipe is SKZ certified.‎
