Isover PIR B is a thermal insulation panel consisting of a yellow, closed-cell, rigid foam (polyurethane foam) expanded between two supports: the upper face in bitumised glass tissue, the lower face in saturated glass tissue.‎ The panels declare λD values equal to 0.‎028 W/mK for thicknesses up to 60 mm, λD equal to 0.‎026 W/mK for thicknesses from 80 mm to 100 mm, and λD equal to 0.‎025 W/mK for greater thicknesses, according to European standard EN 13165.‎ Ideal for use under bituminous sheathing.‎
