LUMEX is not just an element of technology and design, but an emotional device, an object made to substantially transform the way people perceive their everyday environment.‎ Technology improves people's lives by transforming the extraordinary into the ordinary.‎ So LUMEX is not just a window, it is a concept: transforming the extraordinary into the ordinary, enclosing in an everyday object - a window - all the technology that that window needs to make an environment liveable to its fullest potential.‎ This is why Lumex is the first representative of a new generation of aluminium windows.‎ The frame is the backbone of every window, giving it a unique line and structure.‎ The structure of LUMEX is thin, very thin: its frame measures only 67mm.‎ This is also what makes it different from all others: sleek, agile lines that you could stare at forever, without ever getting tired.‎ Nature has made symmetry its instrument of beauty, and we wanted the same concept to apply to Lumex.‎ In order to obtain a larger glass surface area, the asymmetrical central knot is often used, which is certainly the simplest choice to reduce the size of the window frame, but for our idea of LUMEX it seemed unacceptable.‎ And so ours, only 98 mm wide, could only be a perfectly symmetrical central node.‎ An elegant central node by nature.‎ Light is colour, and as colour it can radically change the face of a room.‎ This is why 30% more light transforms living into a radically different experience from the one we are used to from day-to-day life.‎ Light cures discomfort and makes its presence felt not only at the level of the senses.‎ So Lumex is a window frame that does more than just do its job: it amplifies and multiplies visual emotions.‎
