SEKUR
PVC security window
More than 80 per cent of burglaries are carried out by forcing windows and balcony doors, the weak point par excellence in our homes and the first point to be protected in the area of home security.
The SEKUR System is a 5-chamber system with a 74 mm frame certified as Class 3 Security window, equipped with special hardware and P5A certified laminated glass. Within the SEKUR System we find special technical features, such as the double steel core, the perimeter hardware screwed onto the reinforcement and the new perimeter glass bonding.
Security strip hardware
In order to achieve maximum resistance against burglary and intrusion attempts, it is essential that the hardware, in addition to being security hardware, is mounted perimetrically on the four sides of the window, on the movable sash and on the semi-fixed sash to increase the number of anti-break-in cams.
Steel mushroom-section tear-resistant pawls
The special conformation of the mushroom-shaped pawl allows it to be inserted inside steel strikers which are in turn screwed onto the reinforcement in the frame, the whole system constitutes a node invulnerable to break-in attempts.
Tape hardware screwed onto steel
A steel reinforcement onto which the entire perimeter strip hardware is screwed, this unique and innovative system guarantees extremely high resistance values.
Safety glass
The glass used in the SEKUR Line is a laminated 44.6, resistance category P5A, which in combination with the innovative gluing system on the sash, guarantees high standards of burglary resistance.
SEKUR Certified Security window
The abbreviation RC (from the English Resistance Class) indicates the resistance class used to classify the burglary resistance of a window. Resistance classes against burglary attempts are categorised by means of a test procedure, using tools and methods used by burglars to commit burglaries.
The test to which our window frame was subjected, in order to obtain resistance class RC3 according to standard UNI ENV 1627-1630, simulates a break-in attempt by a burglar trying to force the window using various types of conventional tools, over a total time of 20 minutes. At the end of the test, the window must still be closed and must not allow access to the interior.
