AF FLEX JOINT joint covers are used as sealing systems with EI 120 performance for linear joints in rigid walls and floors with a minimum thickness of 150 mm.‎ AF FLEX JOINT is suitable wherever linear seals capable of accommodating movement are required, as it can be compressed relative to its initial dimensions.‎ The extent of the product’s expansion is a function of its degree of pre-compression and the total amount of movement to be accommodated.‎ AF FLEX JOINT is a sponge-like, cuboid-shaped product that is easily compressible, designed to seal structural joints between adjacent compartments and thus contain the fire at its point of origin.‎ Resistance to ‘cold smoke’ is guaranteed by the product’s permanent elasticity (sponge effect).‎ As the temperature rises (above 200°C), AF FLEX JOINT begins to expand and undergoes a physical transformation, forming a non-combustible, highly insulating mass.‎ SPECIFICATIONS Length: 1000 mm Width: from 55 to 330 mm Thickness: 140 mm Density: 70kg/m³ Further info from manufacturer on AF FLEX JOINT AF SYSTEMS
