AF SYSTEMS JUNCTION BOX

AF E-BOX and AF JUNCTION BOX are intumescent sleeves certified to the EN 1366-3 standard for the EI 120 fire rating upgrade of flexible and rigid walls containing electrical boxes and JUNCTION BOXes.‎ They can be applied directly inside existing boxes; in the event of a fire, the sleeves thermally expand until the compartment housing the wires and switches is completely filled.‎ The extreme ease of application and certification for both possible orientations – i.‎e.‎ with the front of the box directly exposed to the fire, or flush against the cool side of the penetration – make this solution highly efficient and cost-effective.‎ Further info from manufacturer on JUNCTION BOX AF SYSTEMS
