AF PANEL

AF PANEL is a fire-resistant panel certified in accordance with standards EN 1366-1, EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4 to provide protection up to EI 240 for a very wide range of penetrations and openings in both walls and floors: pipe and duct penetrations, cable trays, fire shutters and expansion joints are just some of the certified applications for this product, which is useful in all situations where a smoke- and flame-resistant barrier is required.‎ AF PANEL consists of a semi-rigid, non-combustible mineral fibre panel, coated on both sides with a white ablative finish.‎ The product can be cut to shape directly on site using a simple cutter in order to create an intact support on which, if necessary, other specific products for each penetration (e.‎g.‎ collars or intumescent bags) can be fitted.‎ The presence on both sides of an industrially applied fire-resistant coating provides a ready-to-use product that complies with test certificates, eliminating the need to paint the panels on site and to verify the uniform thickness of the coatings.‎ Further info from manufacturer on AF PANEL AF SYSTEMS
