The New Classic is a self-supporting formwork panel with variable geometry and integrated thermal insulation, designed for the formation of slabs to be reinforced and cast-in-place.‎ Its high performance comes from the structural combination of expanded polystyrene and galvanised metal profiles, suitably drilled and shaped.‎ A 60 cm wide element, it is characterised by fire reaction class E, continuously moulded with self-supporting profiles up to a maximum of 2 m in galvanised sheet metal (8/10) L-shaped, placed at 30 cm intervals, cut to size and covered on the intrados with hot-dip galvanised expanded metal mesh.‎ Plastbau® technology allows the thicknesses of the elements to be programmed in production to determine the thermal insulation coefficient U and the height H of the structural joist.‎
