FLEXWELL® LNG All in One transports liquefied natural gas simply and efficiently.‎ Consisting of three corrugated, flexible and concentric pipes, the solution guarantees maximum safety at filling stations.‎ FLEXWELL® LNG All in One (AIO) is BRUGG's flexible and efficient pipeline for transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) at filling stations.‎ The pipeline, constructed without intermediate joints, is capable of recirculation for the retention and recovery of the evaporated liquid (BOG).‎ FLEXWELL®LNG AIO consists of three corrugated, flexible and concentric pipes: - in the centre is the evaporated gas return line (BOG), which can also be used for the recirculation of LNG when not in use.‎ - The cavity, between the central pipe and the second pipe, is used for LNG conveyance.‎ - The third, corrugated pipe can be used to create a containment pipe for LNG.‎ This section can be insulated by means of high-density polyurethane foam, or super insulation by means of high vacuum.‎ Construction features The corrugated pipes are made of AISI 316L steel; the outer jacket is made of PE-HD; the minimum working temperature can reach -163°C (-260°F); the maximum working pressure is 25 bar (360 lbs) and the typical flow rate is 50 kg/min.‎ Advantages Thanks to its construction technology, FLEXWELL® LNG AIO holds a high degree of flexibility, which translates into a totally self-compensating system that is quick and easy to install, even laid directly in open trenches.‎ A considerable advantage over normal rigid pipes which, due to the considerable temperature difference, require compensation bends (usually U- or Z-shaped) or costly axial compensators after a certain length, and must necessarily be laid in concrete trenches.‎ Savings in the liquefaction process The return gas (BOG) is kept cold by the LNG passing through the gap between the central pipe and the second pipe.‎ This passage allows less energy to be used to liquefy the return gas.‎ High safety standards and insulation With FLEXWELL® LNG AIO, safety is never a problem.‎ The pipeline is equipped with an integrated vacuum monitoring system that detects even the smallest leaks and immediately stops the system.‎ The corrugated outer pipe creates a double containment for maximum safety so that the LNG does not escape in the event of a leak.‎ Depending on the field of application, FLEXWELL® LNG AIO has two types of insulation to choose from: high-density polyurethane foam for efficient insulation (All in One PUR), or super insulation through high vacuum technology (All in One VIP).‎ Joining is extremely easy and safe thanks to pre-insulated, factory-installed and tested connectors.‎ The ideal partnerfor piping systems BRUGG PIPE SYSTEMS, BRUGG's Piacenza-based subsidiary, with the support of the parent company, is the ideal partner for choosing the best system solutions for fluid transport, district heating networks, filling station construction and industrial or civil plant engineering.‎ BRUGG supplies a complete range of single-wall, double-wall and thermally insulated pipe systems.‎ The company's expertise allows for special solutions tailored to the project.‎
