Depura allows the preliminary sizing of various types of wastewater treatment plants, including conventional activated sludge systems, simplified systems, and trickling filter plants for combined or separate sewer systems.‎ Its use is extremely simple: the user only needs to define the main characteristics of the influent wastewater, and the software automatically defines the plant units and performs a preliminary automatic sizing.‎ The following treatment units are included: Screening Grit removal Pumping station Primary sedimentation Activated sludge oxidation or trickling filters Secondary sedimentation Chlorination Anaerobic digestion Aerobic digestion Each unit is represented by a dedicated panel where it is possible to modify the default configuration and perform local verification checks.‎ Output Information Calculation report Graphs: plant layout diagram Graphic Features The software includes an internal CAD module that automatically generates .‎dwg files associated with the project file.‎ It is also possible to import DXF or DWG background drawings on which the designed elements can be inserted.‎
