ECOSISM CAPPOTTO ARMATO KARMA®

Karma® is a new integrated solution that allows buildings to be thermally insulated in a single process and prevents the perimeter infills of reinforced concrete framed buildings from overturning under seismic action.‎ CAPPOTTO ARMATO KARMA® is an innovative thermal insulation coat, prefabricated to size, with a metal mesh supporting the external civil plaster finish, which is why it is called a reinforced coat.‎ The reinforced coat proves to be a fast, safe and solid solution for obtaining continuous thermal insulation of walls, as well as, by means of appropriate fixing on the reinforced concrete curbs of the building, preventing the walls from tilting out of level under seismic actions.‎ Its application can be used both in new buildings and in existing buildings to retrofit the energy performance and anti-seismic safety of the infills.‎ The Karma® system is an ECOSISM patent, developed in collaboration with the University of Padua.‎
