VLS is GALLETTI's new range of air-cooled packaged chillers and heat pumps for outdoor installation characterised by the use of R454B refrigerant.‎ R454B is the latest generation A2L refrigerant capable of guaranteeing one of the lowest GWP on the market, equal to only 467.‎ This GWP value ensures that the VLS range complies with the gradual reduction of emissions due to the use of greenhouse gases imposed by the F-GAS regulation.‎ The range is made up of 13 models with cooling capacities ranging from 150 to 590 kW, in cooling only or reversible heat pump versions.‎ The main strong point of the range is its high seasonal efficiency, aimed at definitively reducing annual energy consumption as well as compliance with the minimum efficiency requirements imposed by the ErP 2021 regulation.‎ In order to increase efficiency at partial loads, all VLS models are in fact equipped with tandem or trio solutions (2 or 3 compressors on a single circuit) and fitted as standard with an electronic expansion valve.‎ The use of top quality and state-of-the-art components in the refrigeration, hydraulic and electrical parts makes VLS chillers state-of-the-art in terms of efficiency, reliability and operating limits.‎ In fact, the possibility of producing water from -10°C to 57°C, and operation at full load with external air from -15°C to 46°C is guaranteed.‎ The range provides high configurability from an acoustic point of view, with ample accessories to reduce noise emissions.‎ It is also possible to select the execution with shell and tube heat exchanger for all models above 200 kW.‎ The advanced control, always present on the entire range, allows continuous monitoring of operating parameters, advanced control logic and connectivity.‎ - Use of low environmental impact refrigerant R454B (GWP = 466) - Very high seasonal efficiency values (SCOP up to 4.‎04 and SEER up to 4.‎69) - Scroll compressors with IDV valve for increased efficiency at part load - Modular "V"-shaped structure with reduced floor space and use of state-of-the-art components for lowering the internal refrigerant charge - Intelligent logic for managing defrost cycles (fractioned for each circuit) - Finned coil circuitry designed to ensure countercurrent exchange between air and refrigerant in all operating modes - Possibility of configuring Hydro Smart Flow, an innovative solution to ensure countercurrent exchange on the plate heat exchanger in every operating mode, offering performance and operating limits above traditional solutions.‎ - Microchannel coil for cold only versions - Electronic expansion valve as standard - High configurability of options and accessories - Use of multi-scroll solutions (up to 6 compressors) - 2 cooling circuits - Water production from -10°C to 57°C - Operation with outside air from -15 to 45°C - On-board hydronic kit with 2 pumps and 1 inertial storage tank - Extension of the working range in the heating phase thanks to the "Low Air Temperature" option - Standard and silenced acoustic versions - With plate or shell and tube heat exchanger - Also available with refrigerant gas R410A (VRS) Further info from manufacturer on VLS GALLETTI
