ARCHICAD 23 allows designers to more quickly model and create precise construction details and quantity estimates for reinforced concrete, complex steel, timber and composite beams and columns. Complex abutments and curved, hollow-core and segmental beams can now be modelled and documented to meet graphical and representational standards. Beams and Pillars can be visualised using different views, projected and symbolic, and with opaque screens.
ARCHICAD 23 introduces a new opening tool dedicated to modelling and coordinating phorometries, niches and recesses - such as horizontal, vertical or inclined openings across elements, groups of elements or even across multiple planes. Such openings are important for project coordination because they are equally relevant for architects, engineers and consultants and must be documented by architects and engineers. Openings can be modelled, programmed and documented using intuitive tools and shared using open IFC standards.
Revamped Solibri add-on
ARCHICAD 23 allows seamless control of code compliance and constructability at any stage of the project. The updated add-on automatically detects and sends only changed elements in the ARCHICAD model, allowing faster two-way collaboration.
Advanced connection with dRofus
ARCHICAD 23 allows designers to capture and organise client planning requirements and use them to validate and propose design alternatives. The dRofus database allows designers to collect and manage planning rules and design data with ease, even when working on large and complex projects such as hospitals, airports and universities.
Rhino-Grasshopper-ARCHICAD live connection
the new Grasshopper deconstruction component can be used to extract surface data from the ARCHICAD element as a design reference. With the help of this function, changes to the BIM design core will automatically update all related design details generated by design algorithms in Grasshopper.
