Ksenia Security
Intro is a BUS peripheral for gate control that represents the physical core of the access control system designed by Ksenia. The intro module was created to simplify the installer's work, optimizing both the installation and configuration phases. Intro was designed to protect any door equipped with an electronic lock and connect up to two Ksenia readers or keypads (Volo, Volo-in, and Ergo-X).
The module was developed both to simplify access management in hospitality facilities and bed & breakfasts and to ensure maximum protection of restricted areas of a building such as server rooms, laboratories, archives, or other areas, preventing unauthorized access.
Each intro module allows you to wire and manage one gate.
The configuration is completely managed and monitored by the lares 4.0 control panel, including devices connected directly to the intro module. Administrators can easily define access rules using the lares 4.0 app or web server, setting time-based permissions based on their needs and determining who can access specific areas and at what times. Authorized personnel access the system via Mini Tags or PIN codes. For areas requiring greater protection, dual or single authentication is also available. Intro can be housed in a 6-module DIN rail enclosure or inside a plastic enclosure along with a tamper switch, a power supply, and one or two backup batteries. Standalone mode is also available in the event of a connection loss with the control panel.
Why choose Intro?
- Intro has programming logic that significantly simplifies the user experience for managing the integrated security/access control system.
- The gate can be conveniently managed by administrators either through the lares 4.0 app or from a PC via the control panel's web interface.
- The administrator user can manage all authorizations in a comprehensive and programmatic manner by defining how many and which users can access how many and which areas.
