RAPIDFOND is a shaped galvanised sheet metal panel, designed to replace traditional wooden reinforcement panels while remaining anchored to the foundation casting.‎ RAPIDFOND, once laid and anchored to the metal foundation cage, makes it possible to create a non-returnable formwork to receive the concrete casting for making foundations, plinths, sockets for prefabricated pillars, rafts and berliners.‎ RAPIDFOND can be used with crawl spaces made of gravel, with aerated crawl space and one-way formwork such as Cupolex by PONTAROLO Engineering and with rafts.‎ The advantages of RAPIDFOND: Easy to lay thanks to the use of special hooks - Light to handle - Requires no specialised labour - Fits easily and can be modelled directly on site by the operators to create the made-to-measure formwork - Avoids the planking, dismantling, cleaning, transport and storage of traditional wooden panels and the associated waste - Using a panel that is higher on the outside and lower on the inside allows both the foundation beams and any connecting rafts and/or slabs to be cast at the same time - Limits processing times, thus reducing the overall costs of the work - The closed-cell structure of the panel, unlike similar mesh or perforated elements, prevents the mix (water, binder, aggregate) from escaping and splitting during the construction phase, binder, aggregate) during casting and curing - The galvanisation of the panel insulates against external agents - Available in different heights and 240 cm long or, on request, made to measure - Can only be purchased when necessary and in quantities strictly necessary for the work to be carried out
