PONTAROLO SPYROGRIP

SPYROGRIP is the ideal system for creating Integrated Thermal Protection, or more commonly called thermal insulation.‎ The use of the SPYROGRIP thermal insulation system allows higher thermal transmittance values to be obtained for the same thickness.‎ For years, thermal insulation has been the most widely used solution for enjoying thermal benefits with more easily amortised costs in all renovation work or wherever thermal insulation needs to be applied.‎ SPYROGRIP is presented with innovative technical details that give strength to the connection between the EPS panel and adhesive, which no longer occurs only by "adhesion" but also by "conglobation".‎ SPYROGRIP features Ω-shaped grooves or groove profiles on the inner surface of the panels.‎ Thanks to the presence of the grooves, the glue, compressed between the wall and the panel, is forced to occupy and assume the shape of the groove: when the glue dries, SPYROGRIP and the substrate will be one and the same without "decoupled" behaviour, even decades later.‎ Laboratory tests have shown that the adhesive, clinging to the inside of the grooves, ensures a seal 4 times higher than what is required by current standards.‎ This allows the use of dowels to be avoided except in the cases provided for by the mandatory law or if they are used to support the wall support where this is not in good condition, and in any case to use a smaller quantity.‎ Further info from manufacturer on SPYROGRIP PONTAROLO
