URETEK ITALIA

In order to counteract the buoyancy of soil URETEK has designed MicroAnchors, a new solution consisting of a series of micro-anchors, arranged in a regular mesh on the surfaces of structures against the ground, in order to prevent displacements and deformations.‎ These micro-anchors are very versatile and particularly suitable for existing works, most of which consist of structures unsuitable for bearing point loads and for which non-invasiveness and rapidity of intervention, qualities at the basis of the URETEK Group philosophy, are priority requirements.‎ DEPOSITED PATENT N° EN 201800002456 OPERATIONAL PHASES MicroAnchors requires the use of small, portable equipment that can be moved and used entirely by hand.‎ The pumping equipment, resin and power generator can be stationed near the site on a specially equipped truck.‎ PERFORATING The drilling phase is carried out using manual electric roto-percussion drills or small column probes to be anchored to the wall or self-propelled.‎ MIC RO-ANCHORAGE INSTALLATION The micro-anchorage is placed in the hole either manually or with the help of an electric striker.‎ The insertion of the metal element into the ground takes place up to the design length.‎ The next step involves the creation of a cavity at the head of the anchor.‎ This phase is preparatory to injection and serves to create the space for the resin to flow out of the head as well as out of the side holes of the conduit.‎ INJECTION AND ANCHORAGE The injection phase of the expanding resin is carried out by means of a gun connected to the end of the steel pipe of the micro-anchorage.‎ The gun is regulated by an operator who is in charge of dosing the quantities of material foreseen by the project.‎ TEXTURING The stressing, which takes place a few seconds after injection, is mainly carried out with a mechanical system that can be adjusted with special keys and controlled with a specially calibrated load cell.‎ FIELDS OF APPLICATION MicroAnchors technology can be applied to the following items: - Retaining walls, Excavation fronts, Escarpments; - Bridge abutments, Embankments, Embankments; - Reinforced soil, Gabionates, Bulkheads; - Under-floor slabs, Paving, Foundations.‎ THE ADVANTAGES- FLEXIBILITY of the individual micro-anchoring elements: material handling can be performed completely by hand.‎ - SMALL DIAMETER OF THE STRENGTH OF THE STRENGTHENING ELEMENTS: drilling can be carried out with hand-held drills, so it is possible to operate in cramped conditions or conditions that are difficult for traditional anchors to access.‎ - LOW INVASIVITY, which means that this technology can also be applied to masonry of modest thickness or in a state of less than optimal conservation, which is not possible with traditional anchors.‎ - ECONOMICITY of the intervention compared to traditional technologies.‎ - QUICKNESS of curing of the expanding resins: the intervention is quick and immediately effective.‎ - DURABILITY: made of stainless steel, even if small in size, they have a service life that amply satisfies the requirements of the regulations.‎ - DESIGN SUPPORT: URETEK's technical department engineers are able to support the professional in all phases of design and implementation of the intervention.‎
