C.‎A.‎M.‎ compliance of the ELYFOAM® range.‎ The products in the ELYFOAM® range comply with the C.‎A.‎M.‎ decree for the following aspects: - 2.‎4.‎1.‎1 Disassemblability: at least 50% (weight on weight) of the building components must be disassemblable and must be susceptible to selective demolition at the end of its life.‎ Products in the ELYFOAM® range are easily disassembled and can be selectively demolished after removal from the substrate.‎ - 2.‎4.‎1.‎2 Recovered or recycled material: the content of recycled or recovered material in the materials used for the building shall be at least 15% by weight evaluated of the total.‎ Products in the ELYFOAM® range contain recovered or recycled material and contribute to this limit.‎ - 2.‎4.‎1.‎3 Hazardous substances: ELYFOAM® range products do not contain hazardous substances.‎ - 2.‎4.‎2.‎9 Thermal and acoustic Insulating materials The products in the ELYFOAM® range: - They are not produced using flame retardants; - They are not produced using blowing agents with ozone-depleting potential; - They are not produced using lead catalysts; - Contain blowing agents less than 6% by weight of the finished product; - Contain more than 5% recycled material by weight of the insulation in accordance with the table in the decree.‎ POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS Intercavity The use of ELYFOAM® panel inside the wall cavity increases the thermal capacity of the wall, allowing for good performance and extremely advantageous insulation.‎ Installation in basement rooms is advisable on the outside of the wall, in direct contact with the ground, to avoid the occurrence of surface and internal wall condensation.‎ Recommended product: ELYFOAM® FSL (smooth, 2-sided tongue-and-groove) DSL (smooth, 2-sided tongue-and-groove) QSL (smooth, 4-sided tongue-and-groove) External/ground insulation The use of ELYFOAM® panels on external walls makes it possible to create continuous insulation without thermal bridges, increasing the thermal inertia of the building and limiting the deterioration of the structure due to rain penetration or the formation of mould.‎ It is good practice to dowel the panels mechanically and to shave or shim non-planar surfaces with glue.‎ 1) Recommended product: ELYFOAM® LSL (smooth, 4-sided milling) and ISC (rough grooved, sharp-edged finish) 2) Recommended product: ELYFOAM® ISR (rough, sharp-edged finish) Insulating materials for vans ELYFOAM® panels are used as thermal insulation in the cavities of vans, camper vans and caravans, suitably fixed with specific glues.‎ Recommended product: ELYFOAM ISR (rough, sharp-edged finish).‎ Floor The use of the ELYFOAM® panel on the floor, both for internal and external floors (balconies, terraces, flat roofs that cannot be driven on), reduces heat loss to unheated rooms and to the outside.‎ The compressive strength is adequate to withstand distributed loads for civil dwellings.‎ Recommended product: DSL (smooth, 2-sided male-female joint) QSL (smooth, 4-sided male-female joint).‎ ELYFOAM sheets are produced from extruded expanded polystyrene (XPS), an insulating material made from a very light, closed-cell, thermoplastic expanded polymer.‎ They are made for thermal insulation and used for numerous building applications, including: floors, roofs, cold rooms, walls, and have varying sizes and finishes depending on the use.‎ The ELYFOAM range, like all Brianza Plastica products, is manufactured by applying the strict national and European Community regulations on ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.‎ In fact, only gases with ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) = 0 are used for production, thus avoiding the use of CFCs (or HCFCs and HFCs) that are harmful to the ozone layer.‎ ELYFOAM is CE-marked in accordance with Regulation 305/2011/EC, standards UNI EN 13164:2015 and UNI EN 13172:2012, System 3 - Notified Body CSI S.‎p.‎A.‎ (0497).‎ ADVANTAGES - Excellent thermal insulation - Lightness and ease of application - High mechanical characteristics - Reaction to fire Euroclass E - Low water absorption - Excellent water vapour permeability
