ELYCEM is a Portland cement slab lightened with mineral aggregates and reinforced on both sides with double glass fibre mesh.‎ Thanks to its high mechanical resistance, speed of installation and ease of finishing, ELYCEM is laid as a finishing slab for external walls of buildings constructed with dry or mixed systems, both in new constructions and renovations.‎ Its flexibility, modularity and robustness make ELYCEM the ideal solution as a plaster-bearing slab in ventilated façades in all environmental conditions.‎ Once the slab is laid, the joints are grouted and smoothed.‎ The slab is resistant to weathering and numerous chemical agents and has a weight of approx.‎ 14 kg/m2.‎ ELYCEM can be installed in combination with both ISOTEC® Parete and Linea, for the creation of insulated, ventilated or non-ventilated façades, with a finish prepared for plaster skimming.‎ How to supply the system: Brianza Plastica supplies the appropriate fixing screws, while the following components must be purchased separately: - cement-based skimming plaster for joint filling and smoothing - alkali-resistant glass fibre reinforcing mesh for smoothing and joint reinforcement - paint or water paint / plaster Further info from manufacturer on ELYCEM Brianza Plastica
