ISOTEC® PARETE is a thermal insulation system that enables the dry installation of an insulating and structural cladding system, designed for the construction of ventilated façades.‎ ISOTEC® PARETE offers a new ventilated façade system which, in a single technical solution, creates a continuous and uniform external thermal insulation layer and a supporting structure for the external cladding finish.‎ Furthermore, the perforated load-bearing battens form a ventilated air gap between the insulating materials and the façade cladding.‎ APPLICATIONS The ISOTEC® PARETE system is suitable for both new builds and refurbishment projects aimed at improving the performance of existing buildings.‎ The panel is fixed to the external surface of the structure (brick or concrete block walls, steel or timber structures) using wall plugs or anchor screws that pass through the protected steel support rail.‎ The system thus created forms an insulating cladding system fitted with support profiles for the façade’s finishing elements and allows for the application of various types of external cladding, both lightweight and heavy (terracotta tiles, fibre-cement slabs, concrete slabs, stone slabs, ceramic tiles, timber cladding, metal cladding, etc.‎).‎ The creation of a continuous ventilated air gap between the insulating materials and the cladding minimises summer overheating of the wall and reduces the risk of condensation during the winter.‎ Compliance with the C.‎A.‎M.‎ requirements for the ISOTEC® range The products in the ISOTEC® range comply with the C.‎A.‎M.‎ requirements in the following respects: 2.‎3.‎1 Energy audit, 2.‎3.‎2 Energy performance in summer, 2.‎3.‎3 Thermal comfort: thanks to their characteristics, they can contribute to achieving energy performance targets; 2.‎4.‎17 End-of-life deconstruction and selective demolition plan: as they are mechanically fixed, the systems are entirely dry and can be removed at the end of their life.‎ The panels can also be separated into components, demolished selectively, with parts being reused and recycled; 2.‎4.‎7 Insulating materials: they meet the following requirements: they bear the CE marking in accordance with the harmonised standard UNI EN 13165 and the corresponding Declaration of Performance (DoP), which sets out all their characteristics; no substances included in the list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) subject to authorisation are added, in accordance with the REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006), in concentrations exceeding 0.‎1 % (weight/weight); they are not produced using blowing agents that deplete the ozone layer (ODP), such as HCFCs; they are not produced or formulated using lead catalysts during the formation of the plastic foam; the content of recycled, recovered or by-product polyurethane foam is greater than 4%, in compliance with the lower limit set out in the table in paragraph 2.‎4.‎7 and is demonstrated by the ICMQ RE0910 product certificate (first issued 13/12/2024) issued in accordance with theREMADE® specifications.‎ 2.‎5.‎4 Reuse, recovery and recycling plan: the main components of the panels can be disassembled to facilitate selective demolition, recovery and recycling through mechanical or chemical processes.‎ ISOTEC® PARETE: COMPOSITION The ISOTEC® PARETE panel is a building component comprising a system of functional elements and layers – thermal insulation, ventilation and a substrate for cladding – which contribute to improving the thermo-hygrometric performance of the vertical envelope.‎ It consists of an insulating material made of self-extinguishing rigid polyurethane foam, covered on both surfaces with an embossed aluminium foil, and reinforced by a pre-perforated, protected steel battens.‎ The slotted openings in the metal battens allow for façade ventilation and also serve to channel any accidental water ingress.‎ The ISOTEC® PARETE panel is designed with a longitudinal overlapping rebate on the long side and a dovetail joint on the short side to ensure a tight fit between panels and maintain the continuity of the insulation, thereby eliminating the risk of thermal bridges.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ISOTEC® PARETE Brianza Plastica
