ISOTEC® PARETE BLACK is a thermal insulation system for ventilated façades with a Euroclass fire reaction rating of B-s2, d0.‎ It is a self-extinguishing rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulating material with a fire-retardant mineral coating that gives the outer surface its characteristic dark colour.‎ The steel battens are also finished in a burnished shade to match the panel, ensuring an excellent aesthetic effect that is matt and free from glare.‎ Also available in black, on request.‎ APPLICATIONS The ISOTEC® PARETE BLACK system can be used both in new builds and in renovation and energy-efficiency improvement projects for existing buildings.‎ The panel is fixed to the external surface of the load-bearing structure (brick or concrete block walls, steel or timber structures) using mechanical fixings that pass through the battens.‎ This creates a ventilated façade system onto which countless types of external cladding can be applied, ranging from lightweight to heavy (terracotta tiles, fibre-cement panels – either uncoloured or with colour mixed into the paste – stone slabs, ceramic tiles, wooden slats, metal cladding, etc.‎).‎ Compliance with the C.‎A.‎M.‎ requirements for the ISOTEC® range The products in the ISOTEC® range comply with the C.‎A.‎M.‎ requirements in the following areas: 2.‎3.‎1 Energy audit, 2.‎3.‎2 Energy performance in summer, 2.‎3.‎3.‎ Thermal comfort: thanks to their characteristics, they can contribute to achieving energy performance targets; 2.‎4.‎17 End-of-life dismantling and selective demolition plan: as they are mechanically fixed, the systems are entirely dry-built and can be removed at the end of their life.‎ The panels can also be separated into components, demolished selectively, and their parts reused and recycled; 2.‎4.‎7 Insulating materials: they meet the following requirements: they bear the CE marking in accordance with the harmonised standard UNI EN 13165 and the corresponding Declaration of Performance (DoP), which sets out all their characteristics; no substances included in the list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) subject to authorisation are added, in accordance with the REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006), in concentrations exceeding 0.‎1 % (weight/weight); they are not produced using blowing agents that deplete the ozone layer (ODP), such as HCFCs; they are not manufactured or formulated using lead-based catalysts during the formation of the plastic foam; the content of recycled, recovered or by-product polyurethane foam is greater than 4 per cent, in accordance with the lower limit specified in the table in paragraph 2.‎4.‎7, and this is demonstrated by the ICMQ RE0910 product certificate (first issued 13/12/2024) issued in accordance with theREMADE® specification.‎ 2.‎5.‎4 Reuse, recovery and recycling plan: the main components of the panels can be disassembled to facilitate selective demolition, recovery and recycling through mechanical or chemical processes.‎ Products in the ISOTEC® range: - are not manufactured using flame retardants - are not manufactured using blowing agents with ozone-depleting potential - are not manufactured using lead-based catalysts - they contain a percentage of recycled polyurethane foam exceeding 1 per cent by weight of the foam, in accordance with the table set out in the decree.‎ Further info from manufacturer on ISOTEC® PARETE BLACK Brianza Plastica
