FIBROTEK / FIBROTEK PLUS - Вентилируемая кровельная система / термоизоляционная панель
FIBROTEK ( with 1 runner), i.e. with 1 metal support profile for the roof covering) is a thermal-insulating panel designed by FIBROTUBI, capable of integrating a series of layers useful for recreating, in a single product, a true 'Roof Package'.
FIBROTEK is proposed as a product suitable both for the requalification of old roofs and for the realisation of new roofs, ideal for a rapid and effective adaptation of the roof to the current thermal comfort requirements dictated by current regulations.
It can be used with roof tiles, Marseilles and Portuguese tiles as well as with FIBROTUBI roofs (Coppo, Corinthian, Tek 28 profile, GEA fibre cement sheets).
Fibrotek PLUS (with 2 support runners) includes a double stringer with an enlarged pitch. FIBROTEK Plus with double batten allows for fewer fixings during installation, and a reduction in material consumption, giving considerable cost savings.
FIBROTEK Plus halves installation time, ensuring a roof built in a very short time, particularly suitable for the installation of slate tiles and short/short pitch roofing.
The Laying System always envisages in the initial installation a panel with a shorter pitch of 280 mm (defined as Single Pitch) with only one roof batten, followed by the other double-pitch Plus panels with the pitch according to the superstructure to be installed, tiles, roof tiles, etc.
New 2025: Fibrotubi technicians have designed a further version of the panel such as FibroTek Flat, without a raised batten, but with a pre-drilled flat plate, specifically designed as a thermal insulation underlay for the new Fibrograf modular sheet by Fibrotubi.
Fibrotek Flat contributes to increasing the insulation performance of the roof thanks to the insulating properties provided by the adjustable-thickness polyurethane panel. Its embossed aluminium cladding also ensures impermeability against water and external agents, while the pre-drilled sheet metal band, arranged longitudinally, gives the panel greater rigidity and acts as an ideal anchoring point for the FibroGraf sheet.
The entire FIBROTEK Plus and Flat Line of FIBROTUBI Thermal Insulating Panels for Underlay, also falls within the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) on insulating materials, as defined in the Decree of the Ministry of the Environment of 11/10/2017 art. 2.4.2.9 on the content of recovered or recycled raw materials of thermal and/or acoustic insulating materials.
Features
The insulating body of FIBROTEK is made of high-density rigid polyurethane foam, which is currently the material with the best thermal conductivity for the same thickness. As a result, the product easily meets the requirements of Legislative Decree 192/05 and Ministerial Decree 26/01/2010, which identifies the transmittance values useful for obtaining the tax deduction.
On the other hand, the embossed aluminium film that wraps the panel has a protective function on the insulation, which also constitutes a waterproofing mantle and vapour barrier.
The Aluzinc lath, designed for correct support to the roof covering, at the same time guarantees excellent micro-ventilation due to the perforation made in the profile itself.
Thanks to its special composition, in fact, it is able to perform several functions:
flat support board, insulation panel, waterproof covering, spacer to create ventilation, support and anchorage of the roof covering.
Advantages
Ventilation: Thanks to the perforation of the metal current profile, which creates a 4 cm thick ventilated chamber, an excellent flow of ventilation is ensured, perfectly distributed under the entire roof covering. This translates into improved living comfort, thanks to the dissipation of excessive heat, and longer life of the roof covering, thanks to the maintenance of similar conditions of temperature and humidity between the soffit and the extrados of the covering itself.
Waterproofness: The centimetrically embossed aluminium film that covers the insulating layer not only guarantees protection of the insulation against deterioration due to contact with the air, but also acts as a brake against rising vapour (in the lower part of the panel) and against infiltration from the roof covering.
Mechanical resistance: FIBROTEK panels, in the case of support on a continuous structure (concrete slab, wooden planking), create a load-bearing deck that can be completely walked on.
In the case of discontinuous supports (wooden or steel joists), it is necessary to walk by resting one's feet on the metal stringers, avoiding treading on the panel joints. The large cross-section of the metal runner is designed to adequately support not only walking loads, but also those of any energy production systems.
Rapid and economical installation; FIBROTEK panels are extremely quick to install, thanks to the profiling of the material with opposing wings and the considerable lightness of the panels. The fixing of the roofing membrane is also facilitated and secure, thanks to the wide support base on the metal roof batten. There is also the economic advantage: the integration of different layers in a single panel guarantees considerable savings during installation.
