TEK 28 is a profile 28 metal sheet insulated with polyurethane foam, which allows for the correct design and construction of roofs and external walls.‎ Tek 28 is an innovative roofing element made by coupling a metal sheet and a layer of high-density polyurethane foam.‎ The insulation layer, which runs symmetrically along the profile's corrugation, fulfils several functions, TEK 28 is therefore able to meet multiple requirements: - Noise reduction - Reduction of the condensation effect, it allows the circulation of a 'chimney effect' air flow - Excellent walkability, eliminates the risk of denting and facilitates walkability in the event of maintenance - Reduction of hail damage - Elimination of thermal bridging: the protective layer covering the underside of the sheet metal reduces thermal load and heat loss by around 30% - Elimination of galvanic couples, thanks to the presence of polyurethane that creates a real "barrier" at the intrados of the sheet - Warm ventilated roof effect: the presence of a layer of polyurethane on the intrados reduces the transmission of heat from the sheet inside the ventilation layer, increasing and enhancing the performance of the insulation
