Lastre ondulate GEA sheets for roofing are manufactured by FIBROTUBI using a new technology that employs an asbestos-free cement-based composite reinforced with PVA polyvinyl alcohol reinforcement fibres and natural organic fibres that are non-toxic to humans and the environment.‎GEA adapts to all design and technical requirements, it can be used for the roofing of new buildings or for the renovation of dilapidated roofs, the sheets are waterproof, weatherproof and do not require maintenance.‎ The available profiles include the following versions: Euro 110 six-wave (177/51), Six 105.‎4 seven-wave (146/48) and the Sottocoppo version, manufactured in accordance with current regulations in a reinforced version with polypropylene (PLP) strapping to increase the roof's resistance to loads and walkability.‎ Roman slabs (270/30), Sofit slabs (201/25) for industrial blowing and Maxi Sofit slabs for large blowing and cladding.‎ GEA has excellent sound absorption, low thermal transmission, reduced condensation and ease of installation.‎ The slabs are available in grey and coloured versions (e.‎g.‎ pantile red) obtained through pigments already inserted in the mix.‎ Use on low-slope roofs always guarantees rain and snow-proofing, and the special profile with a flat upper part of the wave favours air circulation underneath the tile covering, preventing the formation of condensation and mould.‎
