TheSOTTOCOPPO METALLICO "Sottocoppo" System is composed of a red-coloured, corrugated steel sheet with a complete system of shaped corbels (4 corbels per sheet) installed on the high corrugation of the sheet for the easy and stable anchoring of traditional roof tiles.‎ Coppo is still today the most widespread type of roofing in Italy, both in renovations and in new buildings for its air of ancient elegance.‎ Tile, however, has the drawback of tending to slide down over time.‎ Many underlay systems are on the market, but all of them, until now, had major limitations.‎ Starting from this consideration, FIBROTUBI has developed a REVOLUTIONARY system that breaks down all the limitations of underlays on the market.‎ The new FIBROTUBI "SottoCoppo" System + correntini, exploits all the technology of metals, proposing this solution that completely solves the problems imposed to date on the designer by the materials on the market, that is, the weight, fragility and size of traditional underlays.‎ Each sub-roof tile requires 4 pre-drilled roof battens for anchoring the tiles and fixing them.‎ The correntine is always shorter than the slab and must be installed on the high wave in order to leave a part empty, depending on the installation and overlap.‎ STRENGTHS of the Underlay System: - Patented Waterproof even at low slope (min.‎ for installation 15%); - Walkable and resistant without risk of breakage ; - Ventilated with safe anchoring of the roof tiles thanks to the stringers ; - Lightweight solution compared to the classic brick underlay, in fact it only weighs 6.‎24 kg/m2; - Possibility of inserting brackets for photovoltaic installation in the fretwork of the slab; - Oxidation-proof paint.‎ Material: pre-coated steel with oxidation-proof paint Available finishes: Red roof tile colour Under-tile system.‎
