Connettore CentroStorico CONNETTORE CHIMICO is an epoxy adhesive for the consolidation and static reinforcement of concrete slabs and reinforced joist slabs type SAP.‎ Connettore CentroStorico CONNETTORE CHIMICO is the 'non-invasive' technical solution capable of ensuring an excellent and robust bond between the existing floor slab and the new reinforced concrete slab.‎ This epoxy adhesive is the new solution specifically designed and tested by the Politecnico di Milano for the consolidation of SAP-type reinforced joist and laterocement slabs with reduced joist width.‎ Connettore Chimico, combined with Leca® lightweight concretes: CentroStorico Concrete, Leca® CLS 1400 and Leca® CLS 1600, constitutes the solution certified with experimental tests by the Politecnico di Milano to increase the load-bearing capacity of the slab by up to 100%.‎ ADVANTAGES Excellent structural adhesion Allows monolithicity with the concrete support.‎ High mechanical strength Both compression and tensile strength.‎ Excellent resistance to chemicals.‎Effective adhesion Even on damp surfaces without water film.‎ Inalterable in the presence of moisture.‎ FIELD OF USE CENTROSTORICO CONNETTORE CHIMICO is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy adhesive supplied in two pre-dosed components (component A resin, component B hardener) in compliance with EN 1504-4.‎ The two components, to be mixed at the time of use, give rise to a slightly thixotropic fluid paste suitable for: -Structural bonding of fresh concrete on hardened concrete for the consolidation and static reinforcement of concrete slabs -Structural reinforcement of reinforced beam SAP-type slabs, with consequent increase in load-bearing capacity (certification and experimental tests by the Milan Polytechnic) -Casting joints for the structural monolithic bonding of concrete elements in general.‎
