LECA® QUOTAZERO
QUOTAZERO is the finishing screed for indoor and outdoor laying with a low thickness from 3 to 60 mm suitable for the direct laying of glued floors (even those sensitive to humidity) and waterproofing layers (both prefabricated and liquid membranes).
QUOTAZERO is a pre-mixed bagged product made up of selected aggregates, specific binders and additives, it has a density in place of about 2.100 kg/m3, with controlled shrinkage < 450 µm/m for surfaces up to 50m2 without joints and reinforcement netting, for the benefit of improved quality and safety of the flooring.
It is suitable for laying any flooring, both moisture-sensitive (such as parquet, rubber, PVC, linoleum, resilient flooring, etc..), as well as those that are not sensitive to humidity (such as ceramic tiles, even large format ones, and similar), starting from 1 day in the minimum thickness of 1 cm (for other thicknesses and drying times see the technical data sheet).
QUOTAZERO is resistant to compression (25 N/mm²) and flexural strength (6 N/mm²).
Installation is easy and safe with the use of traditional site equipment such as concrete mixers, planetary mixers, auger mixers, also continuous, pneumatic pumps for sub-bases.
The screed has an earth-wet consistency and a certified thermal conductivity of λ 1.48 W/mK, which makes it suitable also for applications with underfloor heating systems.
Advantages:
LOWTHICKNESS
QUOTAZERO is suitable for the formation of low-thickness screeds, 3-60 mm, even on radiant piping and without reinforcement nets, for all applications and types of coverings.
PRACTICAL AND SAFE
The bagged packaging makes it possible to obtain a product with constant performance in all conditions, and shorter processing times than traditional sand/cement with normal application methods. In addition, the flooring can be glued directly onto the surface once the substrate is dry.
RESISTANT
The remarkable mechanical properties (25 N/mm² at compression) allow the laying of any type of surface finish.
DRY
Applied at a thickness of 3 cm, after 24 h. it reaches residual moisture values suitable for laying ceramic-type flooring that is not sensitive to moisture, and after 6 days it reaches residual moisture values of <2%, ideal for laying moisture-sensitive flooring such as parquet.
INCOMBUSTIBLE
Totally mineral-based, therefore with "Euroclass A1fl" fire reaction.
Fields of use:
- Screed for modifying slopes or levelling in thin layers on existing floors.
- Screed for levelling/restoring the flatness of existing concrete/ screed surfaces.
- Screed for modifying slopes of flat roofs, terraces and balconies prior to waterproofing treatment or laying of tiles.
- Screed for levelling out thin layers to regularise the bottom of swimming pools/pools to make them suitable for waterproofing.
- Screed for restoring steps, levelling or correcting the level and slope lines of cement screeds or ceramic floor tiles.
- Screeds in general for indoor and outdoor use, also with low thickness from 3 mm to 60 mm.
- Screeds for laying moisture-sensitive (parquet, PVC, linoleum, rubber, etc.) and non-humidity-sensitive (ceramic, etc.) floors.
- Screeds on underfloor heating and cooling systems.
- Screeds for radiant systems
